We’re Covid-safe

At Yamba River Markets we have put a number of measures in place to ensure the safety of our customers and stallholders. Observing the guidelines will result in a safe and enjoyable community market experience. Hand sanitizer and further information is available at the Info Tent, located at the centre of the market.

We expect customers to

• Not enter the site if you are feeling sick nor unwell.

• Keep your distance - maintain 1.5m between yourself (your family bubble) and other customers. Observe the markers sprayed on the ground wherever there is a queue, for instance at food or coffee stalls.

• Use the hand sanitizer provided

• Wear a mask (recommended)

• Be respectful of our volunteers and follow their instructions - they are doing their best to serve the community during a time characterized by anxiety for many.

We expect stallholders to

• provide hand sanitizer for customers at your stall

• encourage visual inspection of goods instead of handling

• use disinfectant wipes to clean objects after handling

• remind customers to maintain distancing of 1.5m in queues

• observe the maximum number of people allowed inside your gazebo - since this is one customer per 4 metres of space, it generally means you may only admit one customer into your gazebo at any time
